Mocha Peppermint Latte

30 Minutes Easy

INGREDIENTS:
- 1/3 cup espresso or dark roast coffee, brewed from *K-cup
- 1 cup Oats milk, unsweetened or milk of your choice
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder, unsweetened
- ¼ tsp peppermint extract
METHOD:
1. Combine oat milk, cocoa powder, and maple syrup together in a small saucepan over medium-low heat
2. Whisk vigorously until ingredients are fully combined, the mixture is warmed through, and the mix has reached a frothy consistency
3. Pour 3 oz brewed coffee into a mug, then stir in peppermint extract. Combine with the frothed cocoa/milk mixture. Top with optional chocolate shavings, if desired
