1. Put the instant coffee, water and sugar in a jug and whisk vigorously for a few minutes until the whipped coffee mixture turns silky smooth and shiny. Continue whisking until it thickens and holds a super fluffy, foamy shape. Refrigerate for a few minutes
2. To make the milky froth for serving, pour the milk into your smeg milk frother, select the “cappuccino with a lot of foam” option and froth
3. Add a teaspoon of caramel to the bottom of your serving cup, gently pour over the milky froth, add the whipped coffee cream and generous sprinkle of crushed almonds with a drizzle of caramel to finish
